    ABOUT THE GREAT EIGHT

    Join us for our annual, juried showcase of the work of Connecticut Pharmacy Residents. The Great Eight is an opportunity for Connecticut's Pharmacy Residents to present their research in front of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy administrators who are interested in the work that they have completed.

    RETURNING FOR 2025

    The Great Eight was introduced in 2012 to spotlight the work of CSHP's Resident Members. As of 2024, CSHP decided to open the Great Eight to all Residents in the state of Connecticut and the winning eight will receive a one year complimentary CSHP Resident Membership. 


    Additionally, we would like to invite all 2025-2026 incoming PGY1 and PGY2 residents to attend the event free of charge. While we understand some programs may not have started yet, if there are local residents that would like to attend we believe it will be a great networking event and chance to see what opportunities will be available to them in the upcoming year.

    ACCREDITATION

    2.0 live ACPE credit hours for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have been approved & accredited by the Hartford Healthcare as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Survey codes will be provided during the program to claim your CE credit.

    CSHP has changed our CE accreditation provider, effective May 2022. CE programs are now accredited through Hartford Healthcare. Please be sure to review the instructions to claim your CE credits and complete steps 1 and 2 prior to the program.
